How the TRIBU model works
- TRIBU is not a contractor directory: it represents you as the homeowner and helps you stay in control of the process.
- The initial review is free: we give you clarity and the right path forward.
- We connect you with the right contractor and guide you to help avoid surprises.
Is the initial review really free?
Yes. The initial review is free: we understand your project and show you the right path, without technical jargon.
Does TRIBU charge the homeowner?
No. We do not charge “advisory” as a separate service. TRIBU is designed to protect the homeowner with a clear process from the start.
So, how does TRIBU make money?
With full transparency: the model is supported by fees paid by contractors or executors, similar to an acquisition or marketing cost, not by the homeowner.
Do contractors become more expensive by working with TRIBU?
Not necessarily. They still need to stay competitive. The difference is not “paying more.” It is reducing the cost of making the wrong decision: cost overruns, delays, and stress. reducir el costo de equivocarse (sobrecostos, retrasos, estrés).
Is TRIBU a contractor directory?
No. A directory leaves you alone with the decision. TRIBU filters and represents you so you can remodel with more control and less risk.
Does TRIBU do the remodeling work?
No. TRIBU is not the crew. TRIBU is the homeowner’s side: order, clarity, and support when dealing with the contractor.
What does “representing the homeowner” mean?
It means TRIBU stands on your side so the process does not depend on chasing people, guessing, or reacting too late. We help you keep clarity and control during the project.
How does TRIBU work?
In simple terms: initial review → match with the right contractor → guidance and representation during the project.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the type of project and availability, but the goal is to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth: clarity first, then execution.
Can I use TRIBU if I already have a contractor?
Yes. We can review your project and help you organize the process before you move forward with commitments that are hard to reverse.
How do you select contractors?
With filters focused on reducing risk for the homeowner. What matters most is that the contractor is the right fit for your type of project and your property.
Does TRIBU give me an estimate?
TRIBU does not make up numbers. We help make the scope clear so estimates can be understood and prepared without surprises.
What happens if the scope changes during the project?
The goal is to minimize surprise changes. If a necessary change comes up, we handle it clearly: what it is, why it matters, how much it affects, and what alternatives exist.
How do you help avoid cost overruns and stress?
With what our analysis defines as “someone staying on top of the process”: order, checklists, and clear decisions before the problem explodes.
Do you help with permits?
We do not bury you in jargon. We turn it into everyday language: permits = “what can stop the project,” so it does not catch you by surprise halfway through.
Do you work with houses and condos?
Yes. The approach changes depending on the type of property, including rules, approvals, and access. That is why the initial review is so important.
What areas do you work in?
